1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Wraeclast Index ("the Site", "we", "us") collects, uses and discloses information when you visit wraeclastindex.fyi. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Usage information. When you use the Site, we collect aggregated usage information, including the pages viewed, the controls selected, the approximate position of selections on a page, the device type (phone, tablet or desktop), the country (as determined by our hosting provider) and the referring website. This information is stored as daily totals and is not associated with any individual.
Information you submit. If you submit feedback through the Suggest feature, we collect the text you submit and the page from which it was submitted. If you open or copy a search on the Trade page, we record the search criteria.
Information we do not collect. We do not collect names, email addresses or other contact details from visitors, and we do not store IP addresses.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
The Site does not use cookies to track visitors. Certain preferences (such as keybindings, Trade page searches and currency watch lists) are saved in your browser's local storage. This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us. You may remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
4. Do Not Track
The Site honours Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. When either signal is present, no usage information is collected.
5. How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain and improve the Site.
- To understand how the Site is used.
- To display aggregated information, such as popular Trade page searches.
- To review and respond to feedback.
- To prevent abuse, including spam and excessive requests.
6. Abuse Prevention
To limit abuse, we temporarily store a one-way hashed value derived from your IP address. The hash uses a key that is replaced daily. Stored values expire after one hour and are deleted daily. These values cannot be used to identify you.
7. Service Providers
The Site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes requests and maintains technical records for security and performance purposes, and provides privacy-focused web analytics that do not use cookies. 8. Third-Party Links
The Site contains links to third-party websites, including the official Path of Exile trade site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
9. Data Retention
Aggregated usage information and submitted feedback are retained for as long as necessary to operate the Site. Abuse-prevention values expire after one hour and are deleted daily.
10. Accounts
The Site does not currently offer user accounts. If accounts are introduced, this policy will be updated to describe the information collected and how it may be deleted before that feature becomes available.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will be revised accordingly.
